Lance Richmond

Mohawk - Akwesasne

Is a founding member of the SilverCloud Singers. He is also a member of the Thunderbird American Indian Dancers. He has toured internationally, including performances in Japan, Brazil, at Lincoln Center, the Apollo, and the General Assembly of the United Nations.

He graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1992 with a B.A. in Political Science, and is also a film director and writer. To date he has directed two short films, It Can’t Rain All The Time (1995), and A Traditional Kind Of Woman: Too Much, Not ‘Nuff (1997).

He recently completed a two year technology and application program at Columbia University that focused on Project Management and the Analysis and Design of Information Systems. He has been employed in the IT field since 1996 and has worked at the Columbia Business School for the last three years.
